Description
RESANON 122 (CAS reg. N°: 25054-06-2) is a ketone resin based on cyclohexanoneformaldehyde.
It is neutral, light in colour, and inert to saponification.
RESANON 122 is soluble toluene, alcohols, ketones, acetates, glycols, chlorinated solvents whereas is not soluble aliphatic hydrocarbons, white spirit, mineral oils.
RESANON 122 belong to modifier resins in mixture with: Nitrocellulose (NC), Acetyl Propionate/Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAP/CAB), Polyvinyl butyral (PVB), Polyvinyl Resins (PVC = chloride, PVAC = acetate), Polyamide Resins (PA), Vinylite VAGH.
RESANON 122 is not subject to saponification and has good resistance to acid and alkalis.
RESANON 122 is designed to have high level degree of polarity. This unique chemistry significantly improve adhesion, pigment wetting and gloss.
RESANON 122 offers the fastest solvent release of polyketone family of resins.
